New on the Scene: Wait And Scene Makes its Debut!

Last week, I hinted that you might be seeing more of my former blogging partner, Jenna B in the future. Well, ladies and gentleman, time to get out your Ray-Bans, because the future is here, and it’s oh-so-bright!

Jenna initially agreed to help me with Yume And Jenna Are Cooler Than You (prior to becoming PretentiousPDX) largely because she didn’t have the time to run a blog on her own (and partially because we thought YAJACTY was a pretty boss name for a blog), but it was always her dream to have a venue for disseminating Awesome into the world that was uniquely her own. So, when we were getting ready to launch PretentiousPDX.com, we decided it was time for us to retire the YAJACTY byline and for Jenna to strike out on her own – and she’s hit paydirt with her latest endeavor!

WaitAndScene went live less than 24 hours ago, but Jenna’s already generating some buzz in the blogosphere with WAS, which boasts a super-slick design and some of the most cutting-edge music recommendations on the web. Coming to you direct from her uber-hip pad in Hood River, Jenna scours the net and hits the local Portland venues to bring you all the next-level tracks and remixes you wish you were cool enough to find on your own. With a sharp wit and easily digestible format, Jenna will broaden your horizons with a rapid-fire sonic education, like Twista rapping for Pitchfork. Jenna sees All Of The Shows, so you don’t have to.
